FPI Patient Doc from lab data
Definition
- Foundation Pain Index (FPI) is a multi-analyte assay with algorithmic analysis (MAAA) that improves patient outcomes by identifying underlying, treatable causes of pain. FPI assists providers in identifying underlying determinants of pain while simultaneously indicating personalized, non-opioid pain therapies. The pain index is reported as a singular numerical score on a scale of 1-100 which is further classified into categories representing the likelihood that detected biochemical abnormalities are indeed a determinant or cause of pain.
