Protein [Mass/volume] in Serum or Plasma
Prot SerPl-mCnc
Definition
- Although there is a qualitative difference between total protein in plasma and serum, the QUANTITATIVE difference is small and probably not clinically significant, therefore, system of SER/PLAS is acceptable. The protein concentration that is reported in electrophoresis is the same as that reported routinely.
