Smn Analysis method

Definition

  • The type of semen analysis method, such as wet mount or centrifugation, may be reported along with results for semen and sperm analysis. Various methods are used to measure the volume, appearance, viscosity and pH of semen as well as determining sperm count, morphology, and motility. Non-sperm cells (WBC, RBC, epithelial and round cells) may also be counted.
