Definition

  • Score is based on a population 45 to 94 years old with coronary disease, hypertension or valvular disease, and including the predictors age, left ventricular hypertrophy, heart rate, systolic blood pressure, coronary heart disease, valve disease, diabetes, BMI, vital capacity (some models) and cardiomegaly (some models). Numerical scores are correlated with risk percentages.
