Definition

  • Hematopoietic malignancies can express on their surface particular subsets of cluster of differentiation (CD) antigens which deviate from the expression patterns of normal mature leukocytes. This result indicates the numerical fraction of all leukocytes examined in the flow cytometry study whose expression pattern was abnormal.
