- This term was created for (but not limited to) EUROIMMUN's Anti-Tyrosine Phosphatase (IA2) quantitative ELISA (IgG) test system for the in vitro determination of antibodies against tyrosine phosphatase (IA2) in human serum or EDTA plasma for the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus type I. The upper limit of the normal range (cut-off value) recommended by EUROIMMUN is 10 IU/ml.
