Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire [MLHFQ]

Definition

  • The Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (R) (MLHFQ) was designed to measure the effects of heart failure and treatments for heart failure on an individual's quality of life. The 21-item MLHFQ uses a 6-point Likert scale, where 0 = no, 1= very little and 5= very much. The questions are intended to be representative of the ways heart failure and treatments can affect the key physical, emotional, social and mental dimensions of quality of life.
