Ages and Stages Questionnaires [ASQ]

Definition

  • A Parent-Completed, Child-Monitoring System that screens infants and young children for developmental delays during the crucial first 5 years of life. Each questionnaire contains 6 questions each in 5 areas (30 questions total) 1. Communication 2. Gross motor 3. Fine motor 4. Problem solving 5. Personal-social. The open-ended questions in the Overall section allow the caregiver completing the questionnaire to share concerns and feedback about his/her child's development and behavior.
