Definition
- Autoantibodies directed against a recombinant mitochondrial fusion protein, M2-3E (BPO), can be detected by enzyme immunoassays. Results may be interpreted by humans or automated methods and used for the diagnosis of primary biliary cirrhosis. This code was created for, but not limited to, the detection of M2-3E autoantibodies by Euroimmun's EUROLINE Profile Autoimmune Liver Diseases (IgG) test kit.
