Definition

  • IgG antibodies to HLA Class II (HLA-DP+DQ+DR) glycoproteins are detected in patient's serum or plasma by EIA methods. Results are based on a threshold; significantly greater (e.g. 2X) absorbency compared to the negative control is considered positive. This code is based on, but not exclusive to, Lifecodes B-Screen assay.
