Radiology Consult note

Definition

  • The common use-case for this code is a consultation by a medical expert (e.g. neurosurgeon) about the recommendation of a transfer, often based on a radiology image. Trauma patients are often transferred from smaller hospitals to larger ones with more treatment options. The consultation may provide recommendations on whether or not to transfer to a larger hospital, depending on the radiological findings.
