Number of prior CCHD screens [#] Qualitative
Num CCHD screen Patient Ql
Definition
- Most infants will have an in-range result on their initial critical congenital heart defects (CCHD) screen and will not need to be re-screened. However, if the first screen is inconclusive, the screen should be repeated per protocol, and the number of prior CCHD screens is important for interpreting the overall screening result. The number of previous screens is also important for documenting whether the screen is the initial screen or a repeat.
