Definition

  • Information about the course of labor and delivery as defined by the US Standard Certificate of Live Birth (2003), including whether or not labor was induced or augmented, fetus was in non-vertex presentation, steroids were given for fetal lung maturation, antibiotics were received by the mother during delivery, clinical chorioamnionitis was diagnosed labor, moderate or heavy meconium staining was reported in the amniotic fluid, fetal intolerance of labor occurred and actions were taken, and epidural or spinal anesthesia was performed during labor.
