Definition

  • Screening for 4-hydroxycoumarins, such as warfarin, difenacoum, bromadiolone, and coumatetralyl, is performed to detect intentional or accidental poisoning from rodenticides. The overall screen result may be reported as "positive" or "negative" based on individual results for 4-hydroxycoumarins (rodenticides) tested.
