Definition
- Immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative determination of soluble fms-like tyrosine-1 (sFlt-1) in human serum. This assay is intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis of preeclampsia, in conjunction with the PlGF assay and other diagnostic and clinical information. This term is based on, but not limited in use to, the Elecsys sFlt-1 assay.
