CD63 (Activated) Basophils/Basophils in Blood by Flow cytometry (FC)

CD63 Basophils/Basophils NFr Bld FC

Definition

  • The percentage of basophiles activated after in vitro stimulation by allergens and expressing the CD63 marker can be determined by flow cytometry. This allergy test method is a blood test for identification of the allergen (e.g. bee venom, drugs, etc.) responsible for the hypersensitivity reaction. It is not the same as the common scratch test.
