Definition
- This panel represents CDC's Congenital Syphilis Case Investigation and Report form (CDC 73.126 REV. 02-2013) used by health officials who identify infants or children of recently pregnant women who may be infected with Treponema pallidum. The information is used to determine whether an infant or child meet the criteria for CDC/Council for State and Territorial Epidemiology (CSTE) surveillance case definition of congenital syphilis (CS).
