Definition

  • The type of nursing employment position, including Advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Nurse Consultant (NC), Nurse Researcher (NR), Nurse Executive (NE), Nurse Manager (NM), Nurse Faculty (NF), Staff Nurse (SN), and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP). Employment position type is reported along with the count and percent of nurses with each type of employment position in the nursing unit.
