Definition

  • The HARK (Humiliation, Afraid, Rape, Kick) questionnaire is a four-question, self-reported instrument that represents different components of interpersonal violence (IPV), including emotional, sexual, and physical abuse. The four-question (yes or no) screen is useful for identifying women experiencing IPV in the past year and may help women disclose IPV in general practice.[PMID: 17727730]
