Turnover rate [NMMDS]

Definition

  • The percent of nursing staff by position who left the unit or service during a reporting period (i.e. turnover rate). The Number of Staff who left includes both voluntary and involuntary turnover. The calculation is based on the number of staff assigned to the unit during the reporting period.
