Definition
- CT is used for preprocedural evaluation of an endovascular stent candidate. Evaluation begins with identification of the aneurysm pathology and its relationship to treatment efficacy. For a thoracic aorta aneurysm, imaging begins at the thoracic inlet and ends in the proximal thigh, including the aneurysm as well as common femoral arteries, the most likely vascular access route.
