Definition

  • Detection of ethanol levels greater than 10 ng/ml may indicate recent usage of an ethanol-containing product. Typical detection time in urine is up to 12 hours. Ethanol may also be produced in samples containing glucose and yeast due to fermentation occurring in samples after collection.
