Definition

  • There is a post infection window in which antibody concentration is too low to detect, therefore a negative result cannot exclude the possibility of a very recent infection. This term was created for, but not limited in use to, the submitter's Operon Simple Chagas WB (whole blood) test kit, which rapid test that can be performed in a little over 10 minutes.Serum and plasma specimens may also be used.
