CT Teeth

Definition

  • The CT teeth scan (also called a dental scan or dentascan) is a computerized reformatting program to obtain true cross-sections of the mandible (jaw) and maxilla (upper mouth) for patients being considered for dental implant surgery. The CT teeth scan offers detailed information on orthodontic anatomy that aids the dental surgeon in determining the position and length of the implants.
