Definition

  • Body fluids include gastric, bile, and pleural fluid. Pleural fluid, bile, etc. may be used for medico-legal testing when blood or urine is not available. Possible nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs screened for are: mefenamate, alminoprofen, celecoxib, diclofenac, etidolac, flurbiprofen, indometacine, salicylate, ketoprofen, meloxicam, nabumetone, naproxen, niflumate, nimesulide, phenylbutazone, piroxicam, rofecoxib, sulindac, tenoxicam, and tiaprofenate.
