Definition

  • The projected heparin concentration is the amount of heparin required to increase the patient's ACT to the clinician specified target value and is based the target ACT and the slope of the patient's response to known amounts of heparin. This term was created for, but is not limited in use to, the submitter's Medtronic Heparin Dose Response test kit.
