Definition

  • This panel includes terms for the metabolic equivalent of task (MET) calculated based on either measured, estimated or reported exercise metabolic rate and the standard resting metabolic rate (RMR). The standard RMR is a reference baseline oxygen consumption constant of 3.5 mL/kg/min and is approximately equivalent to 1 kcal/kg/h or 4.184 kJ/kg/h.
