Definition

  • Each of the 28 DAST items receive a score of 0 or 1. The total score is the sum of the item scores. A total score of 6 or above may indicate a substance abuse or dependence problem; however, some researchers have suggested different cutoff scores for different populations. [PMID:17306727]
