Definition

  • This term should be used to indicate that the patient is currently pregnant, not pregnant, or that the pregnancy status is unknown at this time. Depending on the context in which this term is used, there may be a need to capture more granular information. For example, further information such as whether the pregnancy is planned or unplanned and whether the status is patient reported or test confirmed may be necessary.
