Definition

  • This panel contains ordinal results for the detection of dengue virus IgG and IgM antibodies in serum to aid in the diagnosis of a dengue virus infection. The presence of IgG antibodies is consistent with exposure to the dengue virus sometime in the past. The presence of IgM antibodies is consistent with an acute-phase infection.
