Definition

  • The answer codes are a subset of concept codes drawn from the PHVS_Ethnicity_CDC Detailed Ethnicity value set, and should be used preferentially for reporting. This term was created for, but limited in use to, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), U.S. Standard Certificate of Live Birth, and the U.S. Standard Report of Fetal Death.
