Lung cancer antibody panel SerPl IA
Definition
- This panel of terms was developed by, but not limited to, Oncimmune. Elevated levels of the autoantibodies in this panel against lung tumor proteins are present in 40% of lung cancer patients at the time the malignancy is diagnosed. This panel of six autoantibodies is used to assist in the early diagnosis of lung cancer in patients at high risk of developing it, either because of risk factors such as smoking or the presence of a nodule on a CT scan.[PMID: 21733826]
