Encounter location Type

Definition

  • The type of location (work, school, street, etc.) where the encounter with the patient occurred. To report the geographical location (e.g. city, street address) where the encounter occurred with the patient, used [LOINC: 80412-0]. The encounter location may not be a physical location but rather could also be telephone or video.
