Clinically Useful Depression Outcome Scale [CUDOS]
Definition
- Clinically Useful Depression Outcome Scale (CUDOS) contains 18 items assessing all of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV) inclusion criteria for major depressive disorder (MDD) and dysthymic disorder as well as psychosocial impairment and quality of life. The CUDOS score correlates with the severity of depression with higher scores indicating more severe depression.[PMID: 18243884]
