Satisfaction with knee AndOr hip replacement result
Knee/hip replacement satisfaction
Definition
- This term is used to report the patient's satisfaction with his or her knee and/or hip replacement. If a patient is asked this question within a year of surgery, the question may include the caveat "so far", since significant improvement may occur 6-12 months after surgery. This single-item satisfaction measure and preferred response set is recommended by the ISAR (International Society of Arthroplasty Registries) Patient-Reported Outcome Measures Working Group.
