Definition

  • Elevated levels of the autoantibodies in this panel against liver tumor proteins are present up to four years before the diagnosis of liver cancer. This panel of seven autoantibodies and alphafetoprotein is used to assist in the early diagnosis of liver cancer in patients at high risk due to risk factors or the presence of a nodule on CT scan. This panel was created for, but not limited in use to, the Oncimmune EarlyCDT-Liver test.
