  • This panel is used: 1. To monitor CD4 T-cell count in HIV-positive patients 2. For follow-up and diagnostic evaluation of primary immunodeficiencies, including severe combined immunodeficiency 3. To monitor immune system following immunosuppressive therapy for transplantation, autoimmunity, and other immunological conditions that use this treatment 3. To evaluate immune recovery post hematopoietic cell transplantation 4. As an early screen of gross quantitative anomalies in lymphocyte subsets in infection or malignancy 5. For the absolute quantitation of circulating B cells for the diagnosis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia as indicated in the 2008 International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia guidelines
