Clot strength [Length fraction] in Blood by Thromboelastography.adenosine diphosphate induced

Clot strength ADP-ind LenFr Bld Res TEG

Definition

  • Calculation of percentage of clot strength due to the platelet activating effects of adenosine disphosphate (ADP). This is calculated based on measurements of the patient's maximum clot strength and clot strength due to ADP-induced platelet aggregation, via methods such as thrombelastography or resonance thromboelastography. Used to guide anti-platelet therapy decisions.
