Blood Fungal Pathogens Panel by NAA with probe detection in Positive blood culture

Bld fungal path panel Bld Pos NAA+probe

Definition

  • This panel contains terms used for qualitative detection of nucleic acids from various fungal pathogens directly from positive blood culture samples. This panel was created for, but not limited in use to, the GenMark ePlex Blood Culture Identification Fungal Pathogen Panel (BCID-FP), which detects the following organisms: Candida albicans, Candidaauris, Candida dubliniensis, Candida famata, Candida glabrata, Candida guilliermondii, Candida kefyr, Candida krusei, Candida lusitaniae, Candida parapsilosis, Candida tropicalis, Cryptococcus gattii, Cryptococcus neoformans, Fusarium and Rhodotorula.
