Definition

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) contain formal, written guidelines for an emergency or incident response that may include both operational and technical components. SOPs describes the concept of operations and scope of procedures for a public health emergency operations center (EOC). The scope may include responsibilities of personnel, assigned duties in the EOC and checklists of items that should be accomplished throughout the course of the EOC operations.
