This code was created for, but is not limited in use to, the BioFire Diagnostics FilmArray Pneumonia Panel, a multiplexed nucleic acid-based in vitro diagnostic test intended for use with the FilmArray Instrument for simultaneous semi-quantitative detection and identification of nucleic acids from multiple bacteria and viruses along with select genetic determinants of antimicrobial resistance directly from lower respiratory samples.
