Definition
- Quantitative detection of IgG antibodies against thrombospondin type-1 domain-containing protein 7A (THSD7A) in serum or plasma by immunofluorescent methods to assist in the diagnosis of primary membranous nephropathy (pMN, also known as primary membranous flomerulonephritis, pMGN). This term was created for, but not limited in use to, the submitter's test kit, EUROIMMUN Anti-THSD7A IIFT, which provides qualitative or semiquantitative determination of IgG antibodies against THSD7A.
