Definition

  • This term is intended to report the differentiation of primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL) from diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and (if found to be DLBCL) to further subdivide DLBCL by cell of origin into the germinal center subtype or non-germinal center (activated B-cell) subtype.
