Oxygen consumption (VO2)/Heart rate --peak during exercise
Peak oxygen pulse
Definition
- The peak oxygen pulse is the maximum oxygen consumption corrected for heart rate. The peak O2 pulse is correlated with stroke volume and is a predictor of cardiac mortality in patients with heart failure. [PMID: 14996584]
