Symptom score [Skindex-29]

Definition

  • Skindex Symptom Scores combine the responses to questions concerning itching, burning, pain, irritation and bleeding, which are then converted to a linear scale of 0 to 100. Each scale score for a given domain (Symptoms, Emotions, or Functioning) represents the average of the patient's responses to questions for that domain. Higher scores are associated with lower quality of life. [PMID: 22284137]
