Definition

  • This panel is used to report the results for T and B cell crossmatching by flow cytometry based on patient serum and donor blood samples. Results are used to evaluate the compatibility between potential donors and transplant recipients and are reported both as the overall crossmatch results as well as the median channel shift value upon which the overall result was determined.
