  • This assay includes a GALAD (gender, age, alpha-fetoprotein (AFP)-L3, AFP, des-gamma-carboxy prothrombin [DCP]) model score calculation to calculate the probability of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The GALAD model is reported to be more accurate in diagnosing HCC compared to the use of the individual markers.
