Definition

  • This panel contains terms for naive, memory, and activated T cell subsets, which are used to evaluate patients with various autoimmune and immunodeficiency disorders, including HIV, DiGeorge syndrome, other cellular or combined primary immunodeficiencies, recurrent infections, and recovery of T cells after stem cell transplant or chemotherapy. Cell markers used to differentiate between these subsets include CD27, CD28, CD45RA, CD45RO, and CD62L.
