Glucose measurements in range out of Total glucose measurements during reporting period

% Glucose measurements in range

Definition

  • The percentage of blood glucose levels that are in a target range for patients using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices. The International Consensus in Time in Range (IC-TIR) defines the target range between 70 and 180 mg/dL (3.9-10.0 mmol/L).[PMID: 31177185] The goal is to reduce the time spent in hypoglycemia (glucose levels < 70 mg/dL).
