Definition
- Overall combined interpretation (e.g. elevated, not elevated) of GFAP and UCH-L1 proteins in plasma specimens. If both are below the cutoff value, the overall result is not elevated. If one or both is equal to or above the cutoff, the overall result is considered elevated. Results in conjunction with other clinical information are used to determine the need for additional follow-up testing, including a head CT.
